Measuring for your head size is both an art and a science. You can use a tape measure (or a length of string that you will have to hold up to a tape measure) to determine the length.
Place the string or tape around your head about 1 cm above your ear, across the mid-forehead, completely circling your head. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly.
Basically you need to measure your head exactly where the hat will sit. If your measurement falls between sizes, choose the next largest size.What we consider the final hat size is the circumference in centimeters.
The One-Size version is made with our special elastic sweatband and it fits the range from size 56 to size 60.

Shack takes its name from the late 50s surf culture scene, the shack was a refuge for surfers waiting for the right wave when the sea is too flat.
Not just a hat but a state of mind.
A rope eyelet sewn to the hat allows you to hook the Shack to a carabiner or to your luggage.
Rollable and easy to carry, the shack is made of panama straw from Ecuador, more structured but still resistant woven straw to always be ready to go and ride the next wave.
The hat is hand made in Florence, Italy with respect and consciousness of quality and making process.
