Measuring for your head size is both an art and a science. You can use a tape measure (or a length of string that you will have to hold up to a tape measure) to determine the length.
Place the string or tape around your head about 1 cm above your ear, across the mid-forehead, completely circling your head. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly.
Basically you need to measure your head exactly where the hat will sit. If your measurement falls between sizes, choose the next largest size.What we consider the final hat size is the circumference in centimeters.
The One-Size version is made with our special elastic sweatband and it fits the range from size 56 to size 60.

MAO FRINGE NATURAL STRAW
Mao was born as a new proposal on the side of the Hobo hat as travel hat. Crushable, rollable easy to pack wide brim straw. An hat with no shape that can be modeled on your needing.
The material used is a natural hemp air straw, raw and fringed on the edge.
On this style no size is request or needed. the hat body will be taking the shape you like the most around your head.
The hat is hand made in Florence, Italy with respect and consciousness of quality and making process.
Handmade in-house by young artisans, we avoid some of the pitfalls of fast fashion, such as unnecessary waste, excess inventory and unsafe working conditions.
